I have an ever growing pile of stuff in the corner of my bedroom that is marked as 'I need to bring this to Africa' but I am struggling with figuring out what I am going to need to take with me. How do you plan all of the stuff you will want to have with you badly enough to carry it around in a pack on your back for six weeks.
I want to make sure that I save some room to bring something to the kids in the town where I am building the house. Our group leader is bringing balloons and one of the others on the trip is bringing a frisbee. Suggestions? It needs to be something that can be shared with lots of kids and something to keep them distracted from trying to help me all day.
